Description
The 7th batch in the Cartoon Series features Iljimae (a character created by Ko Woo-young) and Kkeobeongi (a character created by Kil Chang-duk).

Iljimae.
Ko Woo-young, one of Korea's representative cartoonists, opened a new chapter in Korea's cartoon history during the 1970's by earnestly introducing adult cartoons to daily newspapers. His cartoon version of "Imkkeokjeong", which reincarnated the fictitious legend through well-planned, visually appealing drawings strewn with wits and satires, was a huge success since it first appeared. His subsequent creations have since enjoyed enough popularity to make cartoons, once considered to be exclusively for children, to appeal to adults. Iljimae, one of Ko's representative works, first appeared in Daily Sports in 1975. Not unlike his other works, the series succeeded in having the classical literary figure reborn as an attractive character in the cartoon developed while mirroring the keen interests of the Korean society at the time.
