| Description | ||||
| The World Ceramic Exposition 2001 Korea will be held from August 10th to October 28th in Incheon, Yeoju, and Gwangju, the three cities in Gyeonggi-do and home to traditions and spirits of Korean ceramics.
Organized under the theme of "Shaping the Future with Earth," the exposition will offer a venue for a genuine cultural festivity at the threshold of the new miilennium for people coming from all over the world. The global event is organized by Gyeonggi Provincial Government (the Organizing Committee of the World Ceramic Exposition 2001 Korea), and sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Ministry of Government Administration and Home Affairs of Korea, International Academy of Ceramics (IAC), National Council on Education for the Ceramics Arts of the USA (UNECA), and American Ceramics Society (ACerS). |
