| Description | ||||
| With the adjustment in postal rates effective as of January 15, 2002, the postage for My Own Stamp is changed to 190 won and the four themes of love, gratitude, congratulations and birthday will be issued in new designs.
The 'love' stamp shows two adorable crucian carps kissing affectionately. This delightful kiss conveys the message of love. In the 'gratitude' stamp, the lily, a flower symbolizing chastity, is featured. The scent of the pure-white lily conveys the sentiments of appreciation and gratitude. Why not send your congratulations in a white envelop with a stamp bearing a bright red rose with an enchanting scent? In the birthday stamp, a yellow chick just hatched from an egg is shown. Remembering how precious the very first step is to all of us, heartfelt congratulations are expressed by the stamp. Of the My Own Stamp series, the stamps for love, gratitude and congratulations feature the fragrance of the sea, the lily and rose, respectively while the stamps for birthdays are issued as optically variable stamps. |
