Description
In the second bundle of the Korean Orchid series, orchids including Cymbidium kanran Makino, Gastrodia elata Blume, Pogonia japonica Reichb. fil., and Cephalanthera falcata (Thunb.) Blume, will be introduced.

Cymbidium kanran Makino:
This perennial plant that grows on Jeju Island is 20 to 25 centimeters in height. From November to December, it produces 5 to 10 sprays of beautiful fragrant blooms that are greenish in hue. This fall-to-winter flowering species has been recently discovered in South Jeolla Province including Mt. Duryu and Mt. Mandeok in Gangjin. This orchid has been designated as Natural Monument No. 191.
