Description
In the second bundle of the Korean Orchid series, orchids including Cymbidium kanran Makino, Gastrodia elata Blume, Pogonia japonica Reichb. fil., and Cephalanthera falcata (Thunb.) Blume, will be introduced.

Pogonia japonica Reichb. fil.:
This perennial plant growing in marshy areas across Korea has several thick fibrous roots. Its scape is about 20 centimeters and one long oval-shaped leaf is formed at the center of the scape. One blossom of reddish purple flower blooms at the end of the scape in May to July. The plants grow naturally across the nation including Jeju Island.,/FONT>
