Description
In the second bundle of the Korean Orchid series, orchids including Cymbidium kanran Makino, Gastrodia elata Blume, Pogonia japonica Reichb. fil., and Cephalanthera falcata (Thunb.) Blume, will be introduced.

Cephalanthera falcata (Thunb.) Blume:
This perennial plant grows in the shades in mountain forests or hilly areas and is between 40 to 70 centimeters in height. It sprouts three to ten long oval-shaped leaves. The flower forms a raceme of half-opened yellowish buds from April to June. It grows naturally in the southern part of Korea including Jeju Island.
