Our country is surrounded by sea on three sides. We produce various necessary ships for developing the marine transport.
15 won stamp: Cargo ship Paekmagang This ship is a ordinary cargo ship built at Ryongampho shipyard in October 1979. The ship is 100.26m long and 14m wide and displaces 6,000tons.
50 won stamp: Dredger Konsol This ship is a historic ship that President Kim II Sung personally got on board and looked around on April 28,1958. The ship is 70m long, 10.5m wide and 5.2m high.
70 won stamp: Passenger ship Undok No.2 This ship, built at Wonsan shipyard in june 1988, conveys over 160 passengers from Wonsan port to Hungnam port. The ship is 39.02m long and 6.8m wide and its speed is 6.7kn.
112 won stamp: Cargo ship Piryugang This ship is a ordinary cargo ship built at Chongjinn shipyard in May 1984. The ship is 130.95m long and 18.4m wide and displaces 13,600 tons. Leader Kim Jong Il visited Chongjin shipyard in May 1984 gave on-the-spot guidance to build the ship with the modern equipment, after that, gave the name to the ship.
150 won stamp: Excursion ship Pyongyang No.1 This ship, on the River Taedong flowing around the centre of Pyongyang, adds to the beauty of scenery. The ship is built at Nampho shipyard on October 5, 1985. It is 68.61m long, 13.83m maximum wide and 14.9m high and its speed is 7kn. The ship excurses the people from the Taedong Bridge to Mangyongdae.
