Under the wise leadership of President Kim II Sung, the ever-victorious iron-willed brilliant commander and the gifed strategist, the Korean people emerged victorious in the Fatherland Liberation War (June 25, 1950-July 27, 1953) against the US imperialists.
Today, the Korean army and people are pushing ahead with the struggle to develop their country into a political power, military power and a socialist fortess, and implement the historic cause of national reunification under the songun policy of leader Kim Jong II.
