75 won stamp : Minicattleyacv, Minipurple Coerulea
It grows in the tropical and the subtropical regions. It is short and the flower blossoms below 15”ĘC.
100 won stamp : Phalanopsis aphrodite
Registered in 1983, it grows in Thailand and Indonesia. tropical areas in Asia. The flower is over 11 cm in diameter, and 10-15 flowers blossom on an arc stem. The flower blossom in a great number in 26 and 30”ĘC, and the growing period is between Feburary and September.
150 won stamp : Calanthe discolor
It is an evergreen plant distributed in China and Japan. It grows in the bamboo forests in Jeju Island in Korea. The 2 or 3 leaves at each plant are 15-30 cm long. The stock is straight and 20-40 cm long, at the end of which 5-20 flowers blossom. The flowers is 3-4 cm in diameter and blossoms in 10-20”ĘC between April and May.
200 won stamp : Den. snowflake
Registered in 1904, it is a perennial apposition.
The flower is about 6 cm in diameter. It is characterized by many stems from one plant. The flowers blossom between winter and spring.
