The Korean people's army and people are celebrating significantly the 55th anniversary of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, the glorious motherland in the stirring period of building the great socialist prosperous powerfulnation under the prominent Songun-based revolutionary leadership of the leader Kim Jong Il.
On September 9, Juche 37(1948), the foundation of the DPRK was declared to the whole world by President Kim Il Sung. It brought about a fundamental turn in a long history of our nation.
With the founding of the DPRK, a new socialist Korea was born and the Korean people came to hold their powerful political means that could hew out their destinies independently.
