| Description | ||||
| This final packet of postage stamps in the "Train Series" introduces track repair equipment which are used to inspect, replenish, and repair railroad infrastructures to ascertain the status of tracks and ensure that railroads are in tiptop shape at all times to facilitate safety and operational efficiency. These postage stamps illustrate the Multiple Tie Tamper, Ballast Regulator, Track Inspection Car, and Ballast Cleaner.
Ballast Regulator. The Ballast Regulator pushes and regulates the ballasts spread along the railway and thrusts flanking ballasts into the tracks so as to maintain an appropriate level of ballasts between the roadbed and railroad tie. |
