Description
The fifth series on Korean orchids introduces Epipactis thunbergii A. Gray, Cymbidium goeringii Reichb. fil, Cephalanthera erecta (Thunb.) BL., and Spiranthes sinensis (Pers.) Ames. This series will be issued as aromatic stamps carrying the scent of orchids.

Cymbidium goeringii Reichb. fil.
A perennial which inhabits regions in Chungcheongnam-do and south, with a height of 10-25 cm. It grows one green flower at the tip of the stem between February and April, and bears fruit during June and July. Its Korean name means “greeting spring,” as its flowers herald spring. The orchid is called “Chun” orchid, which means spring orchid.
