Description
The fifth series on Korean orchids introduces Epipactis thunbergii A. Gray, Cymbidium goeringii Reichb. fil, Cephalanthera erecta (Thunb.) BL., and Spiranthes sinensis (Pers.) Ames. This series will be issued as aromatic stamps carrying the scent of orchids.

Spiranthes sinensis (Pers.) Ames.
A perennial inhabiting grassy plains, with a height of 10-50cm. It bears pink colored flowers from June till August, and oval shaped fruit in August. The positions of its flowers make it look like a skein of threads, and thus gave it its Korean name, meaning the same. This orchid can be found throughout the country.
