New Stamps Issued
Pyongyang, March 5 (KCNA) -- A kind of individual stamp was brought out in commemoration of the 85th anniversary of the "250-mile Journey for Learning" covered by President Kim Il Sung.
Printed on the upper part of the stamp are the letters "In Commemoration of the 85th Anniversary of 250-mile Journey for Learning" and "Juche 12 (1923)-Juche 97 (2008)".
It reflects the historical course from Phophyong to Mangyongdae, his native place, covered by the
President who left Badaogou of China across the Amnok River with a great ambition in his early years.
School youth and children of the DPRK annually hold the "250-mile Journey for Learning" exploring march to bear the lofty intention of President Kim Il Sung deep in their minds and to have a firm will and strong physical strength.
