Description

As the second installment of the Korean-Made Characters Series, "Pucca" is introduced following the introduction of "Pororo, The Little Penguin" in 2011.

Pucca is the youngest daughter of Guh-Ryoung Chinese Restaurant renowned for making the world's most delicious Jajangmyeon. On her way to Suga Village to make a delivery, she comes across Garu who has been training in martial art and falls in love with him at first sight. The animation,"Pucca," is an adorable love story of Pucca's unrequited love of Garu, who is focused only on martial art training in an effort to fulfill his late father's will and rebuild his family. This story unfolds with episodes involving Pucca, Ching (Pucca's best friend) and Abyo (Garu's best friend), Bruce (Abyo's father who is a policeman), Ssoso who has come down from Shaolin Temple where he was training in martial art, Woo-Wuh and Ho-Oh (the chefs of a branch of Guh-Ryoung Chinese Restaurant), Santa and Nini, as well as other friends.

Launched in 2000 and armed by both compelling design and distinctive brand strategy involving a variety of product lines including animation, apparel, accessories and bags, the character "Pucca" has created a sensation. Projecting the image of a strong woman who aggressively pursues her love, Pucca succeeded in attracting the interest of female customers in their 20s and 30s in the character market which used to be dominated by lower-aged customers, and successfully created a new trend. In addition, Pucca advanced into overseas markets after making contract with world-renowned companies like Walt Disney and Warner Brothers. Now Pucca has grown into a world-famous brand that sells its 3,000 or so products in 150 countries around the world. Issued as a self-adhesive stamp, the new stamp will introduce Pucca and her friends in a total of 10 stamps, with various stickers that can be used for decoration together with the stamp included in the stamp sheet.
