The survey is designed to determine the existing amount of national wealth which forms basis of national economic activities and to draw its level and structure, and thereby to estimate the national assets accumulated before and after the First and Second Economic Development Plans. Thus, it will furthermore induce (1) estimation of economic power of the nation and international wealth accumulations between each distinctive time, (2) estimation of efficiency of national capital, (3) and it will also be served in finding composition and distribution of national wealth which provide basic instruments to be used for framing and pushing ahead the next Third Five-Year Economic Development Plan.

On this occasion, the Ministry of Communications issues the special stamp, desiring that the purpose of survey be best known to the public and be secure of every cooperation required thereof, and that it shall be marked with another milestone toward ever growing national economy.
