| Description | ||||
|
As we look back upon the closing year, we are proud of what we have achieved in
developing and building the nation during the year and we are greeting the coming year hopeful of the
future of this nation promising better life and continuing prosperity.
At this time each year, we recollect delightful and sad bygone days and think of our relatives, friends, and acquaintances, all endearing to us. Thus we begin to exchange New Year greetings after safety and wishing happy New Year each other. New Year greetings give pleasure to both the writers and the recipients alike. As the old Monkey year is closing and the new Chicken year is dawning, we are charting out our future plans with renewed resolutions and make up our minds to play more vital role in developing the national economy and in building the nation. The Ministry of Communications issues two kinds of commemorative stamps greeting the new year and hoping continuing success for this nation. |
