The Ministry of Communications is issuing these two stamps as the second part
of a series of postage stamps featuring the renowned sightseeing places in the Republic of Korea.
1. Palmi Island Situated about 16 kilometers southwest of Inchon on the West Coast, this lone but picturesque island is famed for its pine-wooded low hill and its long stretch of sand beach. An ideal summer resort, it is frequented by vacationers who enjoy both swimming and boating. |
