Description
EXPLO 74, one of history`s largest Christian gatherings, will be held at May 16 Plaza on Yoido Islet in Seoul from August 13 through 18, 1974. This is the second International Training Congress on Evangelism.

The first such congress, EXPLO `72, was held in Dallas, Tex., of the United States in 1972. Convened on the themes of Jesus Revolution and Spiritual Explosion, EXPLO `74 is to be attended by over 15,000 foreign delegates representing 210 major ethnic organizations, 110 countries, and many religious and vocational associations, in addition to some 300,000 Christians from more than 14,000 churches in Korea and abroad.

To celebrate the international Christian congress in Seoul and give it a wide publicity at home and abroad, the Ministry of Communications is issuing these commemorative stamps.
