| The Seoul International Trade Fair-82 (SITRA '82) is held for 25 days from September 24 through October 18 at the Korea Exhibition Center. SITRA '82 is the largest-scale trade fair ever held, a major turning point our promotion of foreign-trade. More than 200 foreign exhibitors and more than 600 domestic companies are participating in the Fair, with exhibits of a broad range of industrial and commercial activities and national celebrations of the exhibiting countries will be staged along with the fair.
SITRA '82 will be of great help in letting the world know our strong desire to make international trade an efficacious means of achieving world prosperity and peace. It will also provide an excellent opportunity for foreign visitors to see firsthand the dynamic potentiality of the Korean market, which is projected to exceed $100 billion in total tade volume by the mid 1980's. The Ministry of Communications issues this commemorative postage stamp in recognition of the significance of SITRA '82 in furthering world trade and cementing friendly relations among the exhibiting countries. |
