Description
The Ministry of Communications has effected a change in the 400 won and 500 won definitive stamps. The former has been changed in its color tone only, and the latter in its design.

1. Celadon-glazed Incense Burner Incised in the Pattern of Seven Treasures.
This incense burner, a kind of inlaid celadon, appears to have been made in the first half of the 12th century. Designated as National Treasure No. 95, it is 15.5mm in height and 12.4mm in width at the bottom, and is possessed by the National Museum of Korea in Seoul. This is generally considered to represent Koryo celadon in delicacy and beauty. It is presumed to have been made at Taegu-myun, Kangjin-gun, Chonnam Province.

2. Brick with Mountain Landscape in Relief.
One of the eight bricks with patterns and pictures in relief unearthed from a tomb in Puyo, Chungnam Province, this brick is a Baegje Dynasty product, which is 29x29mm in surface size and 4.3mm in thickness. Designated as Treasure No. 343, it is possessed by the National Museum of Korea in Puyo. The whole expression is pictorial and the round mountain peaks help to soften the impression of the brick.
