Description
The Ministry of Communications is issuing this year a series of postage stamps featuring Korean made automobiles. The aim of this decision is, on the one hand, to congratulate our auto industry on its rapid growth and, on the other, to diversify the design of our postage stamps to suit the taste of philatelists at home and abroad.

The series will be issued in five installments, featuring small-sized, medium-sized, large-sized and specially-equipped automobiles, in that order. The following two kinds of stamps, are the fourth of the series:

1. Dump Truck.
This 10.5 ton dump truck, made by Daewoo, is rapidly extending its role as a powerful and speedy means of transportation in subway construction sites and in varieties of other large-scale construction sites that are increasing both in number and scale.

2. Cargo Truck.
This 10.75 ton truck, made by Hyundai, is the biggest of its kind produced in Korea. Although designed for transportation of big cargoes, the truck has a light body, and is excellent in mobility and especially fit for highway transportation.
