| The Government has decided to enforce the National pension Program from January 1, 1988, which is an pension plan for our country to advance into a welfare state.
The National Pension Program aims at securing steady income by paying a fixed sum of money regularly, to persons following their retirement, due to age or disability, or their dependents. The Ministry of Communications issues this postage stamp in the hope that this newly enforced pension program will be successful throught common interest and understanding of the people. |
