| Description | ||||
| This year marks the 20th anniversary of Saemaul Movement, a national campaign for better life that has provided the nation with the driving force for renovation of the national consciousness and modernization of the country.
It is true that the Movement once suffered trials and hardships, but it has reestablished new ideology and goals suitable for the changing conditions of the country, recovering its original identity as a pure movement. The Movement is now preparing to make another leap forward toward the goals of building "friendly neighborhoods", "pleasant towns", "healthy society", and "A country to be proud of". The Ministry of Communications issues the postage stamp in commemoration of the 20th anniversary of Saemaul Movement, and also as a means of encouragement for it to move vigorously ahead with new-confidence. |
