Description
The following four stamps are the second part of the Wild Flower Series issued by the Mnistry of Communicationa in order to let the beauty of Korean nature be widely known.

1. Aquilegia buergeriana var. oxysepala.
This perennial plant grows on rather sunny spots in valleys. Its normal height is about 1m., and its flowers bloom around June and July, and are reddish brown. The flower blossoms at the end of branches, facing the ground. It can be found in Korea. Manchuria, Northern China, and eastern Siberia.

2. Aerides japonocum.
This orchid is light green in the stem. It usually blooms about four to ten flowers per system from June to August. Moreover, the red and white flowers are well known for their nice fragnance . This epiphytic orchid has a tendency of growing downward from tree trucks. The orchid is found in southwestern Korea and Cheju Island.

3. Gentiana zollingeri.
This biennial plant is distributed throughout the temperate zone of East Asia. It usually grows in forests, and blossoms between May and June in clusters at the end of branches and the main stem. The plant is well distingushed because its flowers are rather large and form a cluster.

4. Heloniopsis orientalis.
This is a perennial plant which grows in shaded parts of mountainous regions. Color of the flower is purple with reddish shade. The stem grows to reach approximately 60 cm, after the flowers bloom.
