At the "National Postage Stamp Exhibition" held at the Sejong Cultural Center during this year's Exhibition, Philatelic art selected from each regional preliminary contest will be on display. In addition, a philatelists' convention, philatelic seminars for teenagers, and an autograph session of postage stamp designers will be held.

The postage stamps, which were initially used as a means of paying postage charges, have become a channel through which we can acquire social and cultural knowledge of other contries. Also , postage stamp collecting is now considered as one of the best hobbies. Moreover, the postage stamp has played the role of raising people's awareness of global issues, such as environmental problem and space development, as well as friiendship between countries.
