Description
The Ministry of Communications is issuing this second collection of postage stamps featuring edible mushrooms with the aim of introducing Korean mushrooms to the world.

Cortinarius purpurascens.
This mushroom can be found in northern areas of the Temperate Zone in the Hemisphere, in summer and autumn. It grows in coniferous and latifolicus regions, and its pileus ranges from 3 to 13 cm. It is edible and has oval spores.

Oudemansiella platyphlla.
This plant grows in and around the mold of latifolicus region in areas above the Sub-Tropical Temperate Zone in the Northern Hemishere from summer throughout fall. The surface of its pileus is grayish brown, gray or dark brown with a radical and fibrous pattern. Its hard stem is 7 to 12 cm tall and Its spores are oval in shape.

Gomphus floccosus.
This mushroom grows in Korea, Northeast Asia and the North America. It grows in the soil surrounding coniferous trees and forests. it is 10 to 15 cm tall, and its trumpet pileus is 4 to 12 cm in diameter. Its stem is red, cylindrical and hollow.

Morchella esculenta.
This gregarious plant lives in forests and gardens in Korea and Europe during spring. It is edible and is 8 to 15 cm tall with an oval pileus that depict diamond-shapes.
