Priority mail service was begun on October 1, 1994, to satisfy the growing demand for speedier mail delivery. Domestic mail is classified into Priority mail and Non-priority mail depending on delivery time. the Priority mail is delivered within the very next day after it is posted, while the Non-priority mail is delivered within the fourth day. Priority mail service is available anywhere in the country. It is faster and more convenient than the previous special mail service, and is available at more reasonable rates. |
