New Postage Stamp Issued

Pyongyang, October 29 (KCNA) -- The State Stamp Bureau of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea has issued an individual stamp and a sheetlet to commemorate the unofficial visit to the People's Republic of China paid by General Secretary Kim Jong Il from last August 26 to 30.

Seen in the upper parts of the stamps are such inscriptions as "Commemoration of the unofficial visit of the great leader Comrade Kim Jong Il to the People's Republic of China" and "August 26-August 30, Juche 99 (2010)".

The individual stamp carries a picture of Kim Jong Il meeting with President Hu Jintao.

Printed in the sheetlet are a picture of Kim Jong Il leaving his autograph after visiting Jilin Yuwen Middle School where President Kim Il Sung studied from 1927 to 1929, and pictures of the DPRK leader visiting various places of northeastern China.
